Nobody tells you the timeline until after you have paid, which is backwards. Here is the whole schedule, start to finish, so you can plan around it.
Stock buildings: 1 to 12 business days
If the building you want is already built and sitting on a lot, delivery typically happens within 1 to 12 business days. The range is that wide because it depends on where the building is, how far it has to travel to Perry County, and how full the delivery schedule is that week. If you are up against a hard deadline, say so when you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
Custom builds: 3 to 6 weeks
A custom order goes into the build queue at our shop. Three to six weeks is the normal window from order to delivery. Bigger and more complex buildings sit at the far end of that range, particularly anything with spray foam insulation or a finish-out package with electrical, flooring and wall coverings, because that work happens after the shell is up.
The verification call: 7 to 14 business days out
Before your building comes, somebody from our team calls you roughly 7 to 14 business days ahead to verify the details: the exact address, the spot on the property, the access route, and anything unusual about the site. Answer that call. Most delivery day problems are things that would have been caught on that call.
Delivery day: Monday through Friday
We do not deliver on Saturdays. Our crews run weekdays, and we schedule a window with you. Have the site ready before that window opens.
What “ready” means
Level ground, ideally a gravel pad about a foot larger than the building on every side. Roughly two feet of clear space past the building width along the entire path from the road to the spot. About 13 feet of overhead clearance, which means low branches trimmed, not noted. Written permission from a neighbor if we have to cross their property. And the yard picked up, including pet waste, because our crew is going to be walking that ground for an hour. The full checklist is on our preparing for delivery page.
The part you control
The pad. If you are having gravel brought in, order it early. Getting a load of rock delivered and spread in Perry County can take longer than getting the building, and an unfinished pad is the single most common reason a delivery gets pushed.
While you are waiting
